Out of print. Italian born and raised in Australia ,Gene Pierson arrived in New Zealand in 1965 to escape the Australian draft. He topped the local charts with a succession of locally produced singles, including "Love, Love Love", "You Got to Me", "Toyland" and "See My Way". Gene regularly appeared on television and toured with top artists of the time including Tommy Adderley, Larry Morris and the Rebels, Shane, the Chicks, Simple Image and the La De Das. This 2008 issued compilation features all original recordings from 1967 to 1970 plus 2 remixes ,and comes in digipack format with a superb and indepth 64 page booklet filled with photos ,press clippings etc - all housed in a black/silver foil outer card sleeve.
