This cd anthology features every track recorded by Tom Thumb from 1966 - 1970 and traces their development from an r'n'b combo to the Deep Purple influenced art rock of the Ludgate Hill ep. Tom Thumb had a reputation as a fierce live act with raw covers of tracks by the Move,Traffic and the Faces but their sound became more psychedelic towards the end of the 1960's with the organ taking a more prominient role.
