You'll find here a selection of Direen's myriad influences, from French cabaret and free-form jazz to pure raunch and straight pop.Includes "alligator" ,Direen's best known song and a genuine student radio hit back in 1985.There's all sorts here and Direen, a topnotch guitarist plays a variety of instruments: bagpipes, piano, piano accordion.A different nucleus of musicians appears alongside Direen at every turn of his career. This collection is dominated by the longtime rhythm section of Greg Bainbridge (bass) and Johnny McDermott (drums).
